The London Sinfonietta is renowned worldwide for its work at the
leading edge of new music and the quality and excitement of its
performances and recordings. Their programme is dominated by music from
Eastern Europe and reflects the changing face of Polish composition,
from Panufnik’s early Piano Trio to Penderecki’s masterly Clarinet
Quartet and to Mykieten’s innovatively daring work.
